Learn AI to Take Back the Planet

    Posted on September 5, 2026September 5, 2026

People are worrying about AI and data centres instead of the climate crisis. I get it. AI is smaller, newer and easier to think about. But it’s the wrong target. While we debate AI’s footprint, the vastly larger fossil-fuel economy—and the people who profit from it—fades into the background.

So learn AI instead of surrendering it to the people who think they own the future. Trump doesn’t know AI; he makes silly pictures with it. Musk doesn’t know AI; he hires the talent. Be the talent.

Learn the technology, question it, and use it against concentrated power. We’re not going to solve today’s complex problems with yesterday’s technology. Learn AI to take back the planet.
