    Branding work that uses AI is a disturbing anti-intellectual trend. Similar fears greeted word processors, Wikipedia and web search: writers worried that computers would diminish authorship, schools banned online encyclopedias, and Nicholas Carr famously asked, “Is Google Making Us Stupid?”

    AI is already embedded throughout our information environment, from search and recommendations to the digital products we use every day. If we tagged everything AI has influenced, we might soon be tagging almost everything. We should judge the quality and integrity of the work, not stigmatize it because AI played some part in its creation. Adaptation will come in time.
